Global Scrum Gathering Vienna is more than just attending learning sessions. Take advantage of these additional offerings whilst in Vienna.

Welcome Reception

Welcome! Join us, Sunday 27 October from 17:00 – 18:00 to help us kick off #SGVIE19. This is your first chance to network, meet new friends, and reconnect with people you already know. Register early and join the party so you don’t miss out on the fun.

Monday Mingle

The Monday Mingle party in Vienna will be historic – literally! Plan to join us at the Liechtenstein GARDEN PALACE (Das GARTENPALAIS Liechtenstein). We look forward to coming together in this stunning symbiosis of nature, architecture, and masterpieces of art history. Be prepared to mingle and take lots of pictures!

Tuesday Happy Hour

After two full days at the Gathering, your mind is probably swirling. It’s not uncommon to feel a bit overwhelmed from all the learning you’ve encountered. We recommend some time to unwind with us and look forward to having you join us at Tuesday Happy Hour.

Coaches Clinic®

Take advantage of this unique and valuable opportunity! Our popular Coaches Clinic is open throughout the Gathering and fills up quickly. Coaches Clinic is available 09:00 – 17:00 Monday - Wednesday. If you need help with specific challenges you’ve encountered on your agile journey, this is your opportunity to speak one-on-one with an experienced agile coach. We can help you find the right coach to discuss technical practices, organizational change, Scrum, Kanban, coaching as a career, and many other topics. Make an appointment or just walk in. Coaches Clinic is a service of the Certified Scrum Coach community. We are happy to have Dr. Andreas Wintersteiger facilitating this special offering at #SGVIE19.

Some of the finest agile organizations and Gathering sponsors will be with us at #SGVIE19. Please take the time to visit them in the exhibit area. Gather some interesting insights and takeaways (and great souvenirs too).

Photo Booth

As a special benefit for #SGVIE19 attendees, we invite you to stop by the Scrum Alliance photo booth to have a complimentary professional headshot taken. We'll deliver your photo electronically after the Gathering and then you can use it for your profile on your social networks. Smile!

CSP Networking Lounge

In lieu of the CSP Retreat that were held in past Gatherings, we invite CSPs and beyond to join us in the CSP Networking Lounge, available throughout #SGVIE19 in the Schubert Room 6. We are delighted to have Stefan Zumbrägel serve as our CSP Networking Lounge facilitator. CSPs can take advantage of the following activities:

  • CST Application Information Session
  • Coach Application Information Session
  • “Coach the Coach” consultations
  • Networking Wall
  • Hiring Wall
  • Beverage service (coffee and tea)

Be sure to stop by!
