Sunday, 7 October 2018 – 9:00-15:30
If your answer is yes to any of these questions, we invite you to sign up for the Innovation through Visualisation Workshop on Sunday, (before #SGLON18) 7 October 2018. Learn basic drawing techniques to build a visual vocabulary that can be used to generate ideas and solve problems with your teams. Whether you wish to enhance graphic facilitation skills, make collaborative design thinking a key enabler within your team, or simply gain the confidence you need to draw live in front of an audience, this workshop is for you. Your newly-gained skills will assist teams to solve problems and map ideas with the use of graphic metaphors and additional visualisation techniques. The workshop is facilitated by Stuart Young from Radtac. Stuart is a professional live illustrator with extensive traditional/Agile project management experience and a deep-rooted appreciation for Agile principles and methodologies. He has harnessed his creative skills to translate concepts and processes into engaging visuals. With international Agile community notoriety, Stuart has provided his services at various Scrum Alliance Global Gatherings and Retreats.

Hear Ye, Hear Ye - Speaker’s Corner
Based on the original location in London’s Hyde Park, Speaker’s Corner is open to public speaking, debate, and discussion. The concept has since spread to other public parks in London, other UK cities, and even several other countries around the world.
In this spirit of free speech, #SGLON18 attendees are invited to make a proclamation on any subject. Anyone interested can show up and participate in the discussion. This is your chance to speak in a public setting to other Gathering attendees about a subject you feel passionately about, or maybe ask a question to the crowd that you feel will spark a debate. Just sign up for a time slot, turn up, and start talking. The crowds will soon gather!
Dive into the #SGLON18 Fishbowl, our semi-structured form of Open Space, where thought leaders are seated in the inner-of-two circles for facilitated conversation around key topics, such as scaling scrum or the future of organisations. As a Gathering attendee, you have three ways to participate: (1) Sit in the outer circle and learn from the discussion as it emerges; (2) Take one of the vacant seats with the thought leaders to join the discussion; or (3) Feed the Fishbowl a question via the facilitator.
Picture This – For Members Only
As a special benefit, Scrum Alliance® members who attend #SGLON18 can stop by the Membership area to get a professional headshot taken. While you’re in the area, we invite you to meet our Global Engagement team, learn about new membership offerings and resources, and find out what Scrum Alliance membership can do for you.
Let’s meet at the Mentoring Wall. #SGLON18 attendees have a great way to access experience in key knowledge gaps they’ve identified, as well as networking to build local and global contacts and connect mentors and mentees during coffee breaks, session breaks, meals, and mingling time.
